The Wheels of Hope Initiative

Brockville Honda in conjunction with the Honda Canada Foundation has donated a Honda Odyssey minivan to the Canadian Cancer Society, Wheels of Hope, transportation program. This special vehicle will be used to transport Canadians living with cancer to and from their life-saving treatments both safely and comfortably. Individuals living with cancer who are physically not well enough to drive themselves, use public transit, or afford the expenses associated with travel can find themselves in difficult situations.

This partnership with Wheels of Hope works to help alleviate some of the challenges that people with cancer face every day. Without Wheels of Hope, cancer patients would need to find very costly transit in order to get to their appointments and even miss their treatments in some cases, due to unreliable transit options.

More than 1,800 volunteers in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba devote their time to driving people with cancer to and from their appointments. Our volunteer drivers are trained to provide safe and reliable rides to approved cancer treatment facilities, whether that be across town, in another city, or across the province. This service is available day or night, 24/7 and works with you to find the best options to ensure no appointment is missed.

Brockville Honda is also pleased to be recognized for supporting the Wheels of Hope foundation and changing the future of cancer!
